Once paid, your deposit is protected by a government-approved deposit protection scheme for the duration of your tenancy. Please note that this deposit cannot be used towards your rent instalments. 3. At the end of your tenancy, the deposit will be returned to you: subject to the terms of your contract, after a room inspection. Any deductions for damages or outstanding charges will be outlined in your tenancy agreement. Refunds can take up to 28 working days to process. 4. Your deposit is securely held by a recognised scheme, such as the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (England and Wales) or Safe Deposits Scotland. You’ll receive an email with your deposit repayment ID, which you’ll need to authorise your refund and provide your bank details. Please note: 1. All refunds are issued in GBP, and additional fees may apply if you're using a non-UK bank account. 2. Prestige Student Living cannot influence the deposit refund process.
